Welcome to the hottest spot in town. Where the sun shines off the water’s surface as crowds gather in and out of the pool, cocktails in hand, guests posted up at shaded cabanas and lounge chairs, eyes locked on wrap-around TV screens broadcasting the day’s biggest games. The space is filled with every buzz-worthy game and winning goal, cheers mix with the soundtrack of a live DJ spinning beats that transport you.

It’s a scene where high-stakes betting meets laid-back luxury where you can place a wager from your lounge chair, sipping a cold beverage.

Project Description:

The design of Tailgate Beach Club located at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Las Vegas, a collaboration with local Architect and general contractor AGC and Austin Companies, is a vibrant and energetic sports-themed beach club, says Vincent Celano, Founder and CEO of Celano Design Studio Co. The firm leading the design of Tailgate Beach Club aims to create an atmosphere that fosters the best outdoor sports viewing on the strip which will also include world famous DJs, live performances and interactive pool side games for the guest.

The design featuring sunbaked hues of terra cotta and aqua blue with lemon yellow accents taking design cues from the Riviera, not shying away from bright pops of color, adds Stephanie Niebler, Partner & Creative Director at Celano. The large pool is centrally located with VIP cabanas wrapping around the perimeter and offering perfect views of all four giant TV screens.

Tailgate is all about having a good time and never missing a moment of the game, which is why beer pong tables, along with foosball, ping pong tables and corn hole are placed within the lounge seating areas offering guests a place to lounge in the sun and play.

The feature bar pavilion and celebrity cabanas, located on the sides of the pool are painted with a bold retro pattern in light and dark aqua blue to contrast the terra cotta color of the VIP cabanas. The large central stage and lounge area offers the best seats in the house, and the ability to see and be seen. The iconic structure is painted in a fresh white and draped with an eye-catching yellow and white striped fabric beckoning the Las Vegas sun to keep shining and the party to continue on through the night.
